If you want to make the argument that excellent shots should be more difficult to come by then that is something I can totally get on board with.

Getting tired of the same dead analogy about real players missing perfect shots. That's not what this is about. And don't get all biblical about the real life BS either. 'Cause I don't think a 6' is gonna dunk over a 6'10" & 7' in street ball.
Well them telling you every perfect shot would go in is the problems every perfect shot should not go in. I will never understand this outrage over perfect shots. Good luck

I'm sure someone probably said that at some point but when you put something like this over social media it leads to expectations.

Which is why some people might expect them to Go in - expectations

The outrage comes from being told one thing and having the opposite occur. I wouldn't blow it out of proportion and say there is any "outrage". I'd say people are frustrated that it seems like what they feel should be happening isn't.

It's my personal opinion, that if every green excellent release IS NOT going to go in, than what is the gauge for them going in? If making a green perfect release shot is arbitrary, than who makes the call as to which shot goes in and which does not? What is the algorithm that says which shot can be made and missed when it's a green perfect release? Because at this rate, quite a bit of speculation can come into play. Is 2K determining results of games because they get to choose which shots go in and which do not?...I don't think that's the case. I think all green perfect release shots are supposed to be going in and something with input lag is changing the release.

Hopefully the next patch will correct some of those issues.

Online? Offline? What difficulty?

Alot of people just complain and complain without stating any facts or info for us to respond to. Wide open excellent release doesn't translate to 100% makes. Not in the game and not in real life.

Yea, it happens...
Then that release wasn't excellent.

I just had to pause the game and walk away. It's already hard enough to get these wet releases, now I find out you can still miss these?

Wow! Some of the reactions to this are just SO silly. It's supposed to be 100% with perfect/green release. If it misses, it was either blocked, tipped, or just a BUG. To act like bugs don't happen is just silly. And it's one shot. You world came crashing down because you missed a shot? The mother****ers can't win for losing. They give shot feedback. Then users started crying because perfect releases missed - as they do in real life. So, to address that, they tightened the **** out of the 'perfect' window to make it REALLY hard to get perfect, but pretty much guarantee the shot will go in save for a tip or block. Something goes wrong and 1 of maybe 100 of those shots don't go in and people start crying again. Again: can't win for losing.
