Stillfeelme are you fixing them by changing game speed or shot timing to a different speed. We need a dev to acknowledge this revelation because we just opened Pandoras box.

It makes sense that if you slow it down it's easier to time the release.

Personally I see this as an issue that won't be addressed and think we are just talking to ourselves.

It's a shame too since they hired Beds to clean up their rosters.

What's the point in realism if you give a guy a 90 plus 3 point rating yet you can't shoot with him at the highest level in practice mode with no defense?

I use to watch Chris Mullin one of the purest shooters ever and Sam Perkins at shoot around go all the way around the three point arc and nail all of them.

I'm pretty sure Mullin isn't even rated 90 in 2K.

Copeland and Korver are both 90 plus. Might as well be rated 50.

I've resigned myself to shooting 1/18 from three and bricking midrange shots the rest of the year quite honestly.

I did some testing and "fixed" Durant and Ibaka. The ability for Ibaka to now stretch the floor to the 3pt line with perfect releases just changed the game play up. Anyone that watches real NBA enough know that Kyle Korver is so much a threat that they run screens for him where he sets the screen and then flares out to the 3pt line. Bigs will willingly leave open a man in the paint to go after Korver. Sometimes they will hit Milsap cutting to the paint when it looked like a play going to Korver. The threat of his shooting ability causes that to happen. If you are playing HOF Sim default speed you don't even have to worry about Korver which is absurd lol. So what I am saying you need a threat of shooters or the game is way unbalanced.

I will say this you need the shooters to be able to shoot to get one of those 4-4 from deep games or better. Check out Mirotic from the Bulls I think he was 6-6 or from deep the other night. Your chance is slim very slim to almost none of recreating that if his shots is "broken" at some game speed.

I did some more testing and found that 48 game speed makes D. Collison, N. Stauskaus, and McCallum able to get perfect releases on the Kings. My first time getting perfect releases from those three on the default roster but Rudy Gay is no longer good on that speed.

People are so fixated with dribbling and penetration assists that they dont even realize how important shooting and the threat of shooting is to being a good passing team. The hawks have very few ball handlers and create next to nothing off the dribble. But all them boys can shoot and they are a top assist team because they stretch the floor and create open opportunities with the threat of shooting. Very few teams can be good offensively without shooting irl. That is why mike miller and james jones will always have work. Hof sim is unbalanced with the shot glitches and shooting teams who have key glitched shooters are at a disadvantage. Every team has strengths and weaknesses effective releases are key to team individuality.

Shooting and the threat of shooting effects every aspect of basketball it is just more than just made threes and shooting percentages.

I been labbing with timing releases & game speeds, you probably can get every player green at one point. You just have to find that right combination of both. I have 3 players I can't get with changing releases & keeping default game speed. But have had them same 3 players make shots on a higher game speed, while ruining a few other players. Just haven't found the right combo yet, which will be great for offline, once I finally get it. But online will still suffer if 2K doesn't fix this in a patch, I don't think a roster update will fix it.

A roster update can fix it because they have changed players sig releases in past updates to allow them to be glitch free with shots thst can achieve perfect on hof or any level for that matter. This issue can be addressed by beds and the devs that work on sig shots if they so desire.

I actually think all of them can be fixed by changing the shot base or release timing one or the other at 50 game speed. I started out by changing only the shot bases for the ones I was doing because I think that should be 2K's method. Truthfully the correct way to fix it sounds like they would have to rewrite some coding and that means patching... not happening.

As I said these are things the other dude DaWarrior25 tried changing the quickness of the release doesn't "fix" all players. I could not get a green perfect with Milsap but when I changed his timing of release to late I was able to get green releases HOF sim. I also could have found a shot base that worked with 50 game speed.

Yeah that is the thing there are a list of shot base releases that work on HOF Sim 50 game speed. They should be going through the entire roster to figure out what is right and what is wrong.

So if you are an offline and online player you would prefer them to get it right on the default game speed 50 on both.

I can get perfect with any player no problem. Check your tvs input lag for further issues.
