I have been hitting the side of the backboard a few times since patch. I don't trip because I figure it would have been a miss either way.

I've just played a MyLeague game with the hornets and Gerald Henderson had a wide open fast break corner 3 just to hit the side of the backboard. Never happened before even post patch.

I've seen a few WTF plays where a guy with a high 3-point rating and at least a bronze "corner specialist" badge will clang the side of the backboard.

It's usually on a somewhat contested (i.e. not completely wide open) shot, but it's pretty bizarre and irritating.

I shot a 3pt with Demar DeRozan the other night (albeit he's not a great 3pt shooter) but dude shot it behind the support stanchion and I busted out laughing I lost but that shot was priceless...LOL

I haven't had any air balls on 3's, but my guys do like to hit the back of the backboard on fadeaways on the baseline sometimes.

It's pretty hilarious.

Just saw Hinrich airball a wide open corner 3 vs. the Heat.
