Corner 3 pointers air balls happening way too often??

Happens often if you press up on the shot stick (if using 'absolute' setting) or towards the basket (using camera relative) when shooting in the corners, which would activate a bankshot attempt.

I would call this a glitch TBH.


Doesn't happen a lot but I've seen it and it doesn't really make sense.


I could see if maybe you were too far in the corner...but I saw it happen from clean angle...

Thank you very much sir. I knew I wasn't trippin out. I haven't changed the way I shoot the ball. This random air ball from the corner 3 started after the last patch. It also happens on the bottom of the screen, not at the top (when playing tv broadcast view, that might me another clue to the mystery?).

I use Real Player % with 3PT and Midrange sliders at 50 (player's true percentage) and rarely see those goofy shots with the backboard that I have been on the default Simulation sliders. I do not know why the sliders aren't at 50 to begin with, because Korver doesn't play true to himself with the 3PT slider skewed at 47 ...

OT: I like the idea of playing with Real Player %, but even with 3PT at 50 seems like I miss a ton of 3s.....that's the only thing stopping me from switching over...

I see it too, but I think it only really happens in 2k cam, from the left side of the TV screen as you're looking at the court.

Something about that side makes the miss animation show up way too often as missing the backboard and everything completely, even from elite three point shooters, if your momentum is a little low.
