Buy on day 1 or wait for patch 1 to fix everything

Might as well get Day One, just because you wait to play the game doesn't mean the patch will come any faster :/

Well I just got 15 yesterday on disc and its still "installing" so my guess is if I buy on day one I might be able to play by day 8

I always buy day 1, but going in depth ...

Since this game does not drops its price for a while, I believe not even by patch 3, it makes no sense to wait.

Specially since there are a few incentives to buy it early (not just what 2K offers, but to get used to the new stuff) and this year seems special in regards of the amount of attractive new stuff and the promises of new enhanced elements.

Anyways, to each our own.

Sure, you could wait for a game to fix the problems, but you aren't able to enjoy the game for that period of time. Even when does have bugs, there are plenty of other game modes or ways to enjoy it. People that wait really aren't getting a better value nor is it smarter. It's just a preference.

Day one why not..I wouldn't touch any features just practice and get the feel of the game, meanwhile I wait for rosters updates.

Yeah patch 1 is always on day one.
Also saying that the game is unplayable on release day is a bit of an exaggeration. The game is playable and gets tweaked afterwards

If it's not installing right, leave it on cpu vs cpu opition, come back around 15 minuets.

Wait for the MAIN patch so I don't see "I sold 2k because of so and so not getting fixed" or "This is my last 2k game because blah blah blah"

People are so damn impatient and are ready to blame.....they know what they are getting and it happens every year...something will be broken from the get go this is always guaranteed and yet people still buy early....

I've preordered already so I'm good...will I rage if something is not to my liking and start a thread about it? No...I will just play another game and wait for the patch like I've always done....next month is going to be stacked with a bunch of games......
