I am happy that Kareem is back but damn a 94 overall for a season he put up 14.6 ppg and 6 reb playing 29 minutes? Everybody complaining that Kobe got a legacy bump, what do we call this lol ?

I don't understand why other legends refuse to sign on. Regardless what the compensation is, they are just turning down free money. The fans lose by not having them in the game and the former players lose with less $$$ in their wallets.

Sometimes it's not about the money, sometimes it's about standing up for something or sending a message.

I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong for staying out of the game (or that the reason they're staying out is bad or good), but I believe Barkley said he refuses because he doesn't like the way former players are treated by the NBA. If he feels that's the right thing to do, I'm not one to judge.

I really hope KAJ is in the game. I just hope they dont use the same player model for for 72 and 87. it was pretty stupid in 2k15 when Onyx Wilt looked exactly like the Lakers Wilt

Yeah, it's a dumb way to get that message across, though. It's not like 2k has any say in how the NBA treats retired players (which is better than the NFL at least).

If he really feels so strongly, why did he and is he covering the NBA in the first place?
