Pausing the game (in online matches)

They need to remove pauses or limit them to 20 seconds total.
Need time to use the pause menu? Make them use a timeout

why the hell cant i do anything while the other person pauses?

It cant be a matter of a timer, because it can run for the person that initiates the pause until they press resume.Then if the other person has decided to make modifications, their allotted time could begin to deplete.

I remember those days. Now, THAT was annoying! I think the pause timer was longer back then too.

Nah, I pause the game for like 1:30 in the beginning of the game just to set up my defensive matchups. 20 seconds isn't enough.

I'm not saying take the timer away or lower the minutes aloud. I just don't want to see rapid fire pressing pause. I usually quit on guys if it continues. One guy was actually really nice about it. Once I got on the mic. And told him that I was quitting. I think he wanted to finish the game because it was such a good game. So I didn't.

This x1000, this is 2K16, you mean to tell me we can't both make adjustments to our lineup at the same time? That's craziness. A pause sheild? Ridiculous. Every year I think this is the year we'll be able to BOTH make adjustments at the same time, it's GOTTA be. Then I'm wrong.

This and the whole player's PSN under who they're controlling instead of the actual player name are by far my biggest gripes with this game this year, and I see that more as a positive. Both are still absolutely baffling design decisions none the less.

I don't play online anymore. Haven't on next gen at all but...I thought this was the norm. People I played did this all the time after a dunk or block. They would go into replay too sometimes. One of the many reasons I don't play online
