Wingspan scales automatically; so height increases wingspan.

There are formulas for shoulder, legs and wingspan. It is not difficult to determine rough formulas in order to plug in these measurements.

I had a spreadsheet with all these corrections for 2k15, and the sliders seem to use the same scale. I correct them as I edit them during roster creation/editing.
I changed heights but the wingspan remained at 50.

Well you don't play in your bare feet.

How does this work? I looked at Nerlens Noel and his wingspan was set at 50, and then I went to Rudy Gobert and his was set to 50 as well.

When you change someones heights it resets their wingspan so you have to change the wingspan in the sliders. Everyones default wingspan is set to 50. So for example KD is listed as 6'9" with a 7'5" wingspan, but when I changed his height to 6'11" it reset his wingspan to 7'4". So I had to raise his wingspan from 50 to 56 to raise it to 7'5" again.

Updated the OP to reflect what still needs to be updated or corrected after the changes made in the Opening Day roster update this morning.

The roster updated changed some weights for the Sixers, Bucks, Bulls and Cavs as well as Kristaps Porzingis's height.

Apologies, but I meant that the wingspan measurement will increase because the player is bigger.

If you exit out and check the measurements, a player who is 7'0 with a 50 wingspan rating will have longer arms than another player who is 6'0 with a 50 wingspan rating.

My comment was only indicating that wingspan measurement scale with the overall player size, the actual rating doesn't change. IE 50 wingspan will be a longer measurement on taller players.

However, O’Neil – as Philadelphia coach Brett Brown did previously – defended Embiid’s work ethic after a report said Embiid didn’t wear his boot enough after his first surgery.

O’Neil also said Embiid grew two inches over the offseason. If Embiid ever gets healthy, he could be a heck of a player

I'm pretty sure he means how the hell does winslow grow 2 inches, when most only grow an inch. Shoes at the combine go from half an inch in height to 2 inches, generally the players who are small but need to get another inch to 'look' big will just wear shoes with more padding. I'f it were me, i'd just add an inch to every player from his non-shoe measurements. Get rid of the random 2 inch shoes that no player uses in an NBA game.
