Re: 2k on 4k

Dumb question... Are you using the game mode on your TV?

I went to the park with my PG and played 2 games. Shot 1/5 and 2/5 (1 JS and 2 dunks!) respectively on wide open shots.

By the way, this isn't 2k's fault. Just wondering if anyone else had switched to a 4k TV and had a similar experience?
U have to put the TV in game mode, the refresh rate on the 4k causes a lag between your inputs and what u see on screen. Once u switch to game mode everything will play like normal

Not sure what type of TV you bought, but I have a samsung and game mode reduces the overall picture quality, I love sports mode tho, makes the picture super vivid colors and sound pop.

The colors you like are from the TV using its own processing to alter color balance and that usually increases lag between input and display. Game Modes strip out image processing, which minimizes display/input lag. Sometimes this not only results in less vibrant color but also artifacting or weird scaling issues, so you just simply have to experiment and pick your poison. I'd rather degrade image quality or color preference and reduce lag.

Re: 2k on 4k

I use PC mode on all of my gaming screens. Less input lag then the rest of the modes on my LG televisions.
