Anyone NOT struggling with dribble moves?

I want to see you in the highlights thread with some of theses moves.

Personnaly I haven't practiced moves that much. I do some simple things but I feel it's reponsive this year.

LOL, that's basically what ends up happening to me quite often. Crossover and spin seem to be the only moves I have unfortunately. I pretty much always run set plays, or PnR's but if they don't work, I usually screwed if I have to go iso. Oddly enough I have played basically every 2k basketball game evr made except for my boycott of NBA2k9 after they decided not to make Choops any more, yet dribble moves in iso leave a lot to be desired,lol.

And I've used Scrimmage to try the same stuff, but it never seems to translate into in-game success. I also really wish they would explain a little more about when you're supposed to start chaining moves. Sometimes, there's a long delay between the time you hit the stick and it happening on the court. Is that my fault? Is that the game? I don't know! And the game doesn't bother to tell me. There have been times where I've managed to get by my defender, but, inevitably, I've already unfortunately hit the R-Stick so my guy does this super-delayed move which allows the defender to catch up.

Anyway, that's my rant for the day. I still love the game, and really enjoy playing my offline League vs. the CPU. But I still have major frustrations.

Don't get me wrong, I like the depth, and I often don't mind difficulty. I just hate not knowing what I'm doing incorrectly.

I'm not asking you to abandon your family and take a month off work for 2k training....I sure as hell didn't, I have a family, social life, other hobbies too. I just like to master a game when I get it, which if probably the fighting gamer in me. I'm not up all night writing algorithms and drawing up formulas, I just play a lot of quick games and try to figure things out. Didn't assume anything. I just keep hearing things are impossible when they clearly aren't.... and I'm showing that....jerseys videos are showing that...

You don't have to do anything you don't want to man....it's up to you. The game could definitely do a better job explaining these, but you have an entire community here, and a video two posts above yours that can help....

Oh, sorry man. I wasn't trying to come after you with that. Let me try again. I'll also stick it under the spoiler, but apologies for sounding like a dick.

What I'm frustrated with is the only solution being, "do the same thing you've been doing, only slightly different." Or, "get better at the sticks, nuub." I get maybe enough time Every two or so days to play one game, usually half of one, so standing in the Rec Center playing against a folding chair feels like a waste of my game time. I can't make the players do what I want them to do, and it's tough to accept.

I'm willing to learn, but the game doesn't teach me. It just keeps telling me that what I'm doing is wrong.

I've tried practicing, and I've tried just mostly ignoring the iso-moves and instead running plays. By far and away, the last option has worked the best. I feel as though I'm close(ish), but nothing has pushed me over the edge of competency.

It's probably almost as frustrating for those of you who get it to listen to those of us who don't get it. Practice more is usually a good solution, but for whatever reason, that hasn't been working for me, and I'm salty about it.
