Turn all fouls down to 25 and only hard contact is called for a foul and physical defense means something.

Playing the pro am. Went up for a dunk a user comes behind , grabs me by the neck and forces me on the ground . No flagrant foul called . In fact no foul was called at all. I get a turnover instead . That's not fair at all 2k

Nope, I agree with the OP but I still enjoy my 20-35 FTA games. When it comes to basketball I'm a stats freak.

Shooting FTs just because of stats when players don't even touch, and its called for a foul isn't fun to me at all.

Players get paid to sit through that, I paid them. Stats mean absolutely nothing at the end if the day to me in a video game any more.

No matter what an on screen number says, it wasn't a real game, has no impact on my life if a score was 101-89 or 45-38. Still a W or a L and one patch or corrupted file ruins it all. And next year, nothing carries over. Start all over again. To many years spent trying to get stats good to realize that, it isn't even real.

To me, pointless.

Play for the feeling, not a number.

Im always willing to test a theory, so i tried this and the good thing was the "im in good position, but im going to clobber the person anyway" moments were at a minimum and i saw more animations. But the bad was the number of free throws. It was interesting.

Increasing fouls for #'s is what got us in this mess in the first place...I rather the situations make sense....
