They need to stop with the psychic blocks.

Your shot can get blocked regardless of how well the defender times his jump.

Physics need to be implemented in all areas of game especially driving, dunking and collision system ASAP. Talking about blocking it's flawed because now anyone can block anyone and in NBA things go little bit differently. 3 major facts that most important (but not correctly implemented in game) are positioning, anticipation & wingspan. Leaping ability is just a plus here but not a major factor because if leaping ability was major factor in blocking you would see guys like LaVine, G.Green and others having 4-5 blocks per game.

Plus speed of recovery. You see the center double teaming the PG and still have enough time to return to his position to block your center who takes for ever to score an easy basket

I was playing with Shaq online. And he would back down the defender drop step. And then go in for the 2 hand **** back slam.... for 3 possessions He got blocked.... I was using 2001 Shaq on the Lakers.



I'd get blocked in 2k16.

I must admit as long time 2K player/fan that game have huge problem replicating some players. I remember for years now 2K had trouble making Andre Miller crafty in game, he always get blocked, his IQ couldn't ever translate to the game. Yeah he was slow even in his prime and he is slow now at 39 but he has always found ways to score or impact team.

We've all experienced crazy blocks in this game...all of us....so exaggerating like Calderon is out here like Mark Eaton is unnecessary....the OP has made some great points....we're on the same train of thought for the most part.

What's funny is if you search in the "Watch the NBA" thread you'll pull up some good stuff...
