Need Help: MyGM Contract Extension Glitch

In MyGM Grizzlies franchise, Mike Conley asked me for a contract extension. I promised to give him one and did so by delivering a 3 year extension.

A week went by and his player morale drops to 50 because it says I failed on my promise to offer him an extension. I go to the Player Contracts and it shows him being locked in on the accepted offer. It also still says that it needs to be fulfilled in the Goals and Promises. I can't edit his contract either in this mode so I feel like I'm stuck with him destroying my team morale. The only thing I can think of to fix this is if I release or trade him, which I don't want to do.

Has anyone else had this glitch for 2k16 or is it just me? And if so, was there any solution or workaround for it?

This has been happening to me but the player would ask me to increase to training intensity & i do so but his moral drops & it would say I broke a promise

Just use some vc. Give him a pep talk and reset his morale to 75.

I did do that. But he comes back again saying that I still did not fulfill the promise.
