Whereas in the examples the OP provided, you can see that Davis' initial move is more towards the goal (or the corner in that one example). Again, both of these occur well before the pass is ever thrown. It really doesn't look like it has anything to do with lead passing.

The frustrating thing is that I haven't really had this problem, but it doesn't look like he's doing anything different from what I do. I'm not really sure what to tell him. Again though, my team is the Thunder and I mostly run pick-n-fade with Ibaka. I may have to play a few games offline with the Pelicans and see if I notice anything different with Davis.
So I just went at it for hour.

Dirk pick and pop with bounce lead pass.

Dirk pick and pop with normal pass

AD pick and pop with normal pass

Another normal pass pop.

I have no clue what is going on. I check the players tendencies. Pop vs Roll Dirk has a 35. AD has 90 (if I remember correctly). The higher the more likely they are going to roll. Because players like Shaq, Howard, and Drummond had 100. So I guess it means lower more likely to pop. While a guy like David West had a 50 and LaMarcus had 60.

And after this I did it with Robert Horry in an online match up. Same results. I'll post later.

We had that before, this kind of lead pass has nothing to do with it. The movement when calling a pick is completely independent from any passing.
He moves before you can throw the pass. It is definitely a game bug and not "user error" here.
P&F is just broken and i really wonder how no1 complained this far. 2k doesnt give a rat *** about it it seems.

I'm so confused.... Didn't I just do pick and fade in the videos above your post?

I even did pick rolls that night to make sure I wasn't going crazy.

You did. But they dont do it for me as you can see in the other videos. And im not the only one who expierenced this.
It seems you in scrimmage/practise mode right? That might be another thing. My examples are online gameplay.

Yea I have clips of me doing it online. I just didn't post those. Like I said right after the game I did a at least 3 pick and pops with Robert Horry in a online match (still trying to get out of the NBA league lol).

Re: Pick & Fade tendencies

Also the original clip of me doing it with Draymond Green is a online match.

Of all the times I did a pick and pop/fade. These were the only times it didn't work. And I produced what you did in your videos.

1 - I took too long to run my defender into the pick. After a while the cpu just would go back into freelance offense.
2 - I used lead pass to move the pass catcher.
3 - I used roll instead of fade. And didn't notice it.

To me I my only complaint about the pick and roll game this year is the lack of pick and slips I see my opponent doing.

Re: Pick & Fade tendencies

The fade option for me is RT/R2

Can you show us how AD and Dirk respond when you use R2?

Do you mean the R1? R2 is speed for me.

Only problem with that is it might take little longer. Pressing R1 for a pick will bring the closest big over to me. I'll try it out tonight and I'll see what I can get. So fair warning some of the clips might be Zaza and Osk fading/pop for a jumper lol
