NBA 2k11...is it the best 2k?

Yeah I liked it. Just hated it sometimes how you'll be about to dunk or something and you'll get sucked into a animation where you'd get blocked.

^^ I always loved how the "community" used to complain about the canned block animations but had no problem with the canned layup/dunk animations. Not to mention the latter happened a LOT more.

Still can't believe 2k listened to that crap and just took shotblocking out for the next two years.

Haha vid makes me remember his much a pain in the *** that hop step was....

After a while guys just stopped straight driving all together and did the drive and stop or drive and hop step, so you couldn't even take advantage of the interior defense

Regular games online the hopstep wasn't that hard to defend but super annoying. I guess because I was so used to it from crew. It was a lot easier to stop w/ regular teams because most of the bigs wasn't 7'+ and could standing dunk like crazy.

The only big that gave me those issues was Dwight and maybe Javale? But the beauty about 2K11, I stayed in the HOF Lobby. So if someone did it, even though it was a lot easier to stop, I could just quit and look for someone else. Most dudes in HOF lobby actually played well though.

There was no fouls in 2K11. Until 2K14 old gen you didn't go to the line that often in 2K.
