Worst pre-release marketing ever for sports game?

We're in such a terrible time tho with sports games. Think about it. It's 2016, and we have one option for basketball, football and baseball games. One. Absolutely no competition to push each other.

Especially since sports games have inserted microtransaction it is a huge lack of respect towards customers. To be fair I was hooked in myteam in 2k15( my first 2k since fifa 15 was terrible) . Despite its flaws myteam 16 was even worse. A clear copy in all the mode of rttp and even more ripoff and cash grab. All initial promises like historical grading system were already abolished since November and the game mode was stopped supported by may which by when had already turned to a full arcade pay to win game.
A jump in the myteam section would provide you significant findings on how disappointed was all community with the mode. Yet 20 days before release all we have seen are some pictures of the players. As far as I know could be 2016 again with new sliders and face/body scans and updated rosters

Yeah, I hate the marketing, but in my opinion it's the best sports game on the market. I'll buy the game every year until they give me a reason not to.

With the news we've received so far it's shaping up to be 2k16.5 lol, that's not enough reason to preorder let alone purchase. I made my peace already I'm not purchasing until they fix Paul George my favorite player, it kills immersion for me when he doesn't look right. I do question why 2k is so secretive maybe with the early release date they didn't add a whole lot of game changing features, maybe just a tune up to gameplay and a story mode addition with presentation improvements. They want to grab impulse buyers who don't have the patience to question is this a sufficient upgrade or is this a 2k16.5.

Or the best we will have to wait and see. Last year was about as early as possible. This year is the complete oppositem. It's a really good case study. I full expect to get as many details as last year, but this year they will be compacted into 15 days.

I bet you'll be freaking out almost every day until release.

for a myteam guy it does suck that the mode makes all this money from people who buy vc to buy packs. It's pretty hard to get a myteam guy interested when no info on myteam has released yet.

All we know is lockercodes are coming and if they are going with the #lockercode = 🔥🔥 content again, the mode will suck.
