I'd bet rookie\pro , being that they were hitting step back 3's and contested shot's throughout the video.

.....It's also one play......

Still reading and enjoying the blog, but 2K was not lying about these shoe scans this year. I sat and stared at the Jordan XII's that John Wall has on for a good few minutes. Things are looking great!

Re: 2k17 Gameplay Blog is here!

Mike- First off, incredible blog! Your attention to detail and passion for 2K shines through.

I know you offered to answer questions from the community. If you could provide a little more clarification on the points below, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

1. Eliminating artificial boosts on Hall of Fame difficulty. (I noticed this on Superstar as well, but the fact your team focused on this is HUGE)

2. "We also spent a great deal of time working on collisions between the ball handler and the onball defender. Body ups and rides have much more natural interactions and do a better job at respecting the momentum and skills of the players involved. We really wanted to avoid “snatching” players into multi-actor animations that didn’t make sense and let the natural physics of the collisions play out as they would in real life."

^^This was my biggest issue with 2K16. It was near impossible to drive to the rim without getting sucked into the defender. It really took away from the organic feeling of the game.

Any insight you could provide on the two points above would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Mike!!

Really curious to see the Adaptive Coaching Engine working in one of my Leagues where I control a team with garbage players except two perfect players and go up against teams full of legends (e.g. Celtics with Rondo, Pierce, Bird, Mchale, and Russell).

If this works properly I would expect the Celtics to watch Mchale dominate Mark Madsen.
