I'd make 7'0 stretch because i read that at 7'0 everything is balanced but once u go past that your stats decrease

If you're looking to make a LeBron type of player, what would be the best archetype?

I'm hyped about 2k17. The Prelude can't come soon enough lol?

I'm down. I've never had a team, only played walk on, and would love to squad up in the park as well.

Gonna be a Shot creating SF, 6'8 or 6'9 depending on how much speed I can get. but happy to play at the 2 as well.

Not the best but also should be much worse considering this is my first ever basketball game.

I'm glad we have the option to do this manually this year. Will make for a great game of chess

In 2k16 the max weight for a center was 340, does anyone know what the max weight will be this year for a center? If it's still 340 I was thinking an average of the weight they started you with in 2k16 which was 245 and the 340. So I'm thinking of going with a weight of 290. I'm also thinking of going with a height of straight 7 feet.

I want to be be big enough to battle for position on the boards but NOT TOO SLOW. Still want to be fast enough to help out on defense with a block here and there by rushing to position or stop a slasher from getting to the rim.

For Wingspan I was thinking max wingspan, I don't plan to shoot the midrange or three and want the extra wingspan for tip-ins or hopefully even contact tip dunks not to mention it helps on defense. The strength you loose with a higher wingspan because you do loose a little will be easily negated by the fact that you can max your strength as a glass cleaner and the fact that at 290 (with higher weight) you gain that strength right back as an attribute plus contact dunks and boxouts.

What do ya'll think?

ALSO (stop reading here if you got this far and are bored and answer my first question but if your still interested check out this theory):

I've been thinking about an ATHLETIC FINISHER at PF:

Get this, he would be 6 ft 7, yes six foot-seven at power foward that weights 270 (bulky) because he would gain back the contact dunk and boxout he looses from his height with his weight and gain ball control and SPEED WITH THE BALL and at 17 bars with playmaking and a height even a point guard could have he would be able to ZIP by other Power Fowards for EZ dunks or dunk on them with his very high contact dunk. His badges include ONE MAN FASTBREAK - He could grab a rebound on one end of the court (just likelyhood of better positioning because he's a power foward=more chances at grabbing rebounds and going coast to coast than a perimeter player) and POSTERIZE on the other.

He would have more POSTERIZERS and contact dunks than probably any other type of player in the game plus Zach (one of the developers who commented in this same thread) said Athletic Finishers and Rim Protectors have the HIGHEST VERTICALS so even though his rebounding is at 12 bars if you maxed it out you might still at least average rebounding so you could hold your own on the boards.

Also being POWER-FORWARD a with such high playmaking he could initiate the offense after snatching a board (like a simple PICK&ROLL). Handoff to a point foward or playmaker, set a SOLID PICK (cuz he's bulky) and roll off for a high percentage dunk, another one of his BADGES (pick & roller).

He could even POSTERIZE off and ALLEY-OOP with LOB CITY FINISHER and has the highest chance out of any other archetype to finish that with CONTACT.

Just want some feedback... I've very excited and all I can do is theory craft until FRIDAY when the Prelude drops...

Should I go with my GLASS cleaner idea OR SHORT bulky athletic finisher... Thanks in Advance...

Like you, I have been reading and studying everything I can find trying to figure out my best position this year. Last year I had 3 99's maxed with a 6'7 outside pg, 7'3 inside center, and 6'10 outside small forward. The center was my first position and could truly dominate but the speed made it very challenging to guard on the perimeter. My Point guard was very fast and could actually defend multiple positions and handle the ball while my sf was basically a Rasheed Wallace clone in many ways. No one has really talked about a Athletic Power Forward but I am thinking 6'10 long wing span with 235 weight. I like to run and get up and down the court and dunking and layups are important to me. I also thought about a lock down defender because I love to shot block but at the same time, I want to score and get to the line if I need too and you need ball handling for that.

Looking at stats, slasher and athletic finisher are pretty much the same in my opinion...

For my center im going paint protector 7'1 285, 2nd center a athletic finisher not sure on how tall and weight, 3rd center post scorer, 4th 6'11 250 glass cleaner. Point im doing a 6'0-1 playmaker, sg slasher 6'5-6

I feel like Chris Smoove will probably play as a Lock Down Defender lol

but I feel you on the career. Like, while I wanna be good in the park and all that.. I just want to win some games in HOF career. I'm always losing coz as soon as I'm subbed out we're down 10/15 and I pull it back only to lose by 1 or completely **** it by forcing everything and having to play the majority of a blowout.

Online it'll be easier to hit shots with a LDD anyway coz its on pro. If you play on HOF offline you'll already be getting more greens or high rated shots online.

Can you hook us and swap a couple of rebounding bars for playmaking bars on lockdown defensive guards? The struggle is going to be real playing PG with limited playmaking.
