Re: Player Archetypes NBA 2k17
"Stretch Big" has me worried in terms of them being too effective. They have the same max midrange and 3pt shooting as sharpshooter PG and SG?
It should at least be slightly lower IMO...

Re: Player Archetypes NBA 2k17
you really think a PG with 10/25 rebound would be the equivalent number to a center with 10/25 rebounding..?
it scales by positionComment

Re: Player Archetypes NBA 2k17
Have they also talked about the maxed height for this game or is it still 7'3?Comment

Given that your post is just as much of an assumption as mine at this point, let's both wait a couple of weeks and see for ourselves before the smug comments shall we?Comment

Re: Player Archetypes NBA 2k17
It will probably be different - it may mean you could be very weak on things like defense and rebounding compared to other bigs. In 2k16 there was hardly any difference in rebounding and defense for bigs even with such builds. Doesn't seem to be the case in 17. Don't quote me on this but i heard 7'7.Last edited by Leasim96; 09-02-2016, 12:21 AM.Comment

Re: Player Archetypes NBA 2k17
In 2k16 its as he said as well - maxed rebounding for a SF wasn't the same as a big. It's a pretty accurate assumption. If its not like that it would be a change and very stupid. Unless the weaknesses balance it out.Comment

That's why that's not really for me. Being a Pro-Am player, I know the rest of my team is going to focus on scoring and being able to hit 3's. My archetype choices are between glass cleaner and rim protector. I'm leaning towards glass cleaner because you still have a decent amount of defense and if you know how to play defense, you never need to be maxed out with it. It's tough having to choose this year along with the upgradeable badge system (which I do like even if it is tough) but I like that thought has to be into how you're going to benefit those around you too and your team if you're an online player.Comment

Damn. Leaning towards sharpshooter and seeing if my stick skills can carry me to decent slashing game.Comment

Looks like I'll be going going Shot Creator or Slasher for my PG/SG this year. Lockdown Defender and Playmaker for my PG are appealing, too.Comment
