I've run 2KU back several times and all I have to say is Scott O'Gallagher is REALLY good in that tutorial mode. I've made a three with every position too so been curious what the player builds are haha.

Could not sit through the Prelude at all. 2KU is such a cruel teaser, but you can see the improvements to the game this year even in a stripped down, barebones format.

The gameplay aspects I'm most impressed by (revamped passing system, signature dribbling, new animations/layup system which make finishing at the basket rewarding) will be even better with actual NBA players since you're basically learning the game with college level players. If you watch the tutorial window with Team USA performing each move/pass, you can see we're in for many new great animations.

A lot of people complain about the pop-ups -- true the controls for most moves are old and the option to turn off would be nice -- but in the first games I played they would sometimes come in great context, when I wasn't thinking about trying a particular move out. Many times this will lead to me getting a good shot/converting the basket by applying the move. It's definitely beneficial to try out floaters, post moves, etc. because the game seems to reward more shots than last year if you execute well.

I guess we should be thankful they even included that lightskin PG #1 to use. He is a problem, and I was thinking... either he has D-Rose's signature moves OR D-Rose's signature moves are even better

2KU was annoying the heck out of me with those pop ups. Make it so unplayable. Smh
