I hope it's not a sale, that's the same price that was in 2k15/16. I think they're just trying to say that it's cheaper to buy in bulk, for example 200k at once as opposed to 10 times 20k.

I wonder if they increased the price then? In the prelude it shows $49.99 for 125,000 VC but you get 75,000 VC free. It also shows 50,000 VC for $19.99 but says you get 25,000 VC free..

I rarely, if ever, buy VC but that's just it. This isn't an example where you CANT play the game unless you buy things or it's such a big hurdle to play without VC. Just takes longer and that's the whole point.

I was going to buy a special edition, but that's more of a ripoff than buying VC. I'll just get the base edition on sale ($48) with Amazon Prime and get 65,000 more VC for the price of the Gold edition.

This is why they need to separate MyCareer into an Offline and Online mode.

You used to be able to make your guy 99 in everything (I did it all the time), but since that would make online play unfair - they set caps and made you earn it.

If you just want to play offline, you shouldn't have to buy VC, you should just be able to set your man to 99 and own the NBA.

I don't even really play the my career mode often. I want the VC for MyTeam mode.
