Because that's how summer leagues work. One tournament is always played in a single city

Re: **2K17 - How's your MyLeague/MyGM going?**

Over the last month or so I've been running a "control all teams" MyLeague. I'm actually quite satisfied with how the different teams look just going in to game one of the third season. I've taken some control of narrative in regards to which teams got the top 1-10 draft picks, but otherwise I've been making sure that all deals were fair for both teams. I've edited a lot of players, but not done anything too drastic - mostly potentials and a few tweaks here and there. I do some player editing along the way too, just to shake things up. For example, I've notched Mudiay up to da 75 going in to this season (82 potential) to give the Nuggets a little help.

Quick summary of season 1:
MVP: Russ (averaged a triple double with 31 points)
ROTY: Ben Simmons (16, 8, 6)
DPOTY: Draymond Green (2 steals, 2 blocks)
Finals Result: Cleveland 4, Golden State 3
Finals MVP:Lebron James (averaged a triple double)

Quick Summary of season 2:
MVP: Lebron James (26, 8, 9)
ROTY: Markelle Fultz (averaged 21PPG)
DPOTY: Kawhi (8RPG, 3SPG, 2BPG, and oh yeah, 27PPG! Should've been MVP...)
Finals Result: Golden State 4, Cleveland 1 (4th straight face-off, tied 2-2)
Finals MVP: Durant

I just finished getting all the rosters ready for season 3 - here is each teams one-through-6 man rotation (if you don't want to look through them all, just take a look at Philly, Bucks, Bulls, Heat, Knicks, Lakers, Nuggets, Pelicans, Pistons, Suns and Wolves; this virtual version of the NBA is well equipped to take over the torch when Cavs and GSW is done battling it out!

76'ers:
PG: Exum
SG: Monk
SF: Simmons
PF: Saric
C: Embiid
6th:Luwawu, Covington, Holmes

Bucks:
PG: Trevor Duval
SG: Brogdon
SF: Giannis
PF: Jabari
C: Maker
6th:Middleton

Bulls:
PG: De'Aaron Fox
SG: Denzel Valentine
SF: Jaylen Brown
PF: Portis
C: Deandre Ayton
6th:Felicio, Grant

Cavs:
PG: Kyrie
SG: Shumpert
SF: Lebron
PF: Love
C: Tristan
6th: Ingles, Kilpatrick, Lawson, Jamychal Green, CJ Miles

Celtics (We traded the boston pick and Jayden Brown to the Bulls for Jimmy Butler):
PG: Isaiah
SG: Butler
SF: Crowder
PF: Mirotic
C: Horford
6th: Smart, Olynyk

Clippers (They made the WCF in 2018 due to having Rudy Gay on the books for only that season, who filled the gap at SF nicely but this team is done now. CP3 is reclining, Gay left after the one year and they still have zero depth! It's going to be a tough rebuild!):
PG: CP3
SG: JJ Redick
SF: Casspi
PF: Blake
C: Deandre
6th: Rivers

Grizzlies:
PG: Conley
SG: Hamidou Diallo (Made him an even better athlete, and a 86 potential, just to add a late bloomer to the draft class)
SF: Rudy Gay
PF: Okafor (I've made him into a 20-22PPG scorer down low)
C: Gasol
6th:Andrew Harrison

Hawks:
PG: Schroeder
SG: Hardaway
SF: Taurean Prince
PF: Millsap
C: Dwight
6th: Bazemore

Heat (actually had Demarcus during the second season, but just didn't work out with him and Hassan, so DC tested the markets):
PG: Collin Sexton/Dragic
SG: Tyler Johnson
SF: Josh Richardson
PF: Justise Winslow
C: Hassan
6th:Collin Sexton/Dragic

Hornets:
PG: Kemba
SG: Lonnie Walker
SF: Kidd-Gilchrist
PF: Jayson Tatum (Great ISO-scorer stuck in a small market - like Melo in Denver!)
C: Kaminsky
6th: Jeremy Lamb

Jazz:
PG: Hill
SG: Hood
SF: Hayward
PF: Favors
C: Gobert
6th: Wendell Carter Jr

Kings (Still a train wreck, but some young pieces none the less):
PG: Jeff Teague
SG: Buddy
SF: Jonathan Isaac
PF: Labissiere
C: Papagiannis
6th:Alan Williams

Knicks (I admit it, I pretty much gifted them the 1st pick of the 17' draft, Melo left on his own terms though, as a FA going in to this season):
PG: Fultz
SG: Will Barton
SF: Miles Bridges
PF: Kristaps
C: Hernangomez
6th: Courtney Lee, O'Quinn

Lakers (FRIGHTENING!!!):
PG: Lonzo
SG: D'Angelo
SF: Ingram
PF: Nance (made him an 83 potential)
C: Zubac/Randle
6th:Hollis-Jefferson, Zubac/Randle

Magic:
PG: Payton (made him way better, he's basically a new peak-Rondo, 82 OVR)
SG: Fournier
SF: O.G. Anunoby
PF: Air Gordon
C: Vucevic
6th: Biyombo, Hezonja

Mavs:
PG: Ntilikina
SG: Seth Curry
SF: Barnes
PF: Powell
C: Noel
6th:Yogi, Matthews

Nets (I basically decided that they ****ed up their future again and decided to build around Jordan Clarkson and Dion Waiter, just for giggles, managed to pick up Demarcus Cousins this season though, so they're kind of relevant... Barely though):
PG: Clarkson
SG: Waiters
SF: Justin Jackson
PF: Ilyasova
C: Cousins
6th:Jeremy Lin

Nuggets (very interesting how these studs develop):
PG: Mudiay/Murray
SG: Harris
SF: Michael Porter Jr
PF: Faried
C: Jokic
6th: Mudiay/Murray

Pacers (PG13 wanted to test free agency, I signed him back as I couldn't find any possible destinations for him that had my interest. Would've preferred him leaving as this team has nothing for him, there's definitely something in Myles Turner, but their just not at the same stage in their careers):
PG: Payne
SG: Stephenson
SF: PG13
PF: Thad Young
C: Turner
6th: Collison

Pelicans (Might be a serious contender this year already!):
PG: Jrue Holiday
SG: Avery Bradley
SF: Josh Jackson (88 potential)
PF: Anthony Davis
C: John Henson
6th: Mcgruder, Tim Frazier

Pistons (Young, interesting team!):
PG: Dennis Smith Jr
SG: Doncic (89 potential)
SF: Caldwell Pope
PF: Tobias Harris
C: Drummond
6th: Stanley Johnson

Raptors:
PG: Lowry
SG: DeRozan
SF: Norman Powell
PF: Ibaka
C: Valanciunas
6th: Lauri Markkanen

Rockets:
PG: Beverley
SG: Harden
SF: Dekker
PF: Harrell
C: Capela
6th: Williams, Gordon

Spurs (I tried to what Pop does best, slowly changing the guards, so right now we have a few stars (got rid of Lamarcus) around the age of 28 couple with a few very young future stars):
PG: Bledsoe
SG: Jonathon Simmons/Dejounte Murray
SF: Kawhi
PF: Dragan Bender
C: Dedmon
6th: Jonathon Simmons/Dejounte Murray

Suns (Also a VERY promising young team!):
PG: Ullis
SG: Booker
SF: TJ Warren
PF: Chriss
C: Justin Patton
6th: Brandon Knight

Thunder:
PG: Russ
SG: Oladipo
SF: Roberson
PF: Kanter
C: Adams
6th: Abrines, Sabonis

Wolves (already a solid contender for sure!):
PG: Dunn/Rubio (I made Dunn an 82 potential, he's currently 78)
SG: LaVine
SF: Wiggins
PF: Dieng
C: Towns
6th: Dunn/Rubio, Zach Collins (Young 7ft stretch four!)

Blazers:
PG: Lillard
SG: McCollum
SF: Harkless
PF: Mohamed Bamba
C: Nurkic
6th: Crabbe, Vonleh, Evan Turner

Warriors:
PG: Steph
SG: Klay
SF: McCaw/Iguodala/KD
PF: KD/Iguodala
C: Draymond
6th: McCaw/Iguodala, Damian Jones

Wizards:
PG: Wall
SG: Beal
SF: Otto Porter
PF: Markieff Morris
C: Ezeli
6th:Bogdanovic, Oubre Jr, Gortat

I asked Aldridge for one more year with the Spurs and get another ring before he retires. He said he look forward to it.

Then he signed with the Lakers in free agency.

Have you guys ever signed a free agent with either player or team option? I haven't met such request ever.

Though in Booker's case he wants flat rate in 4 years.

How do we see guaranteed and non-guaranteed contracts?

Re: **2K17 - How's your MyLeague/MyGM going?**

Decided to do a MY GM from the start of the 2016 off season and man did the land scape of the NBA change. I didn't pay much attention to the offseason signings but my Bulls made some big moves and are ranked 4th in the NBA in some power rankings.

Starting 5 Hasn't yet been determined but the roster is shaped as such:

Derrick Rose
Austin Rivers
Trey Burke
Jimmy Butler
Tim Hardaway Jr.
Jonathan Simmons
Doug McDermott
Glen Robinson III
Bobby Portis
Taj Gibson
Dario Saric
Rudy Gobert
Joakim Noah
Spencer Hawes
Willy Hernangomez

We still have $855K of cap space, and $20M luxury tax room. Going into 2017-18 off season we will have 44.27M of est. cap space. Another change we made to the team was Rick Carlisle becoming head coach and Tim Duncan coming in as Asst Coach.

Re: **2K17 - How's your MyLeague/MyGM going?**

I've got a MyLeague that is in the FA portion of the 2017 off-season. I simmed the 2016-17 year and got most things correct, and had the Warriors beat the Cavs 4-1 in the Finals and Durant win Finals MVP (Westbrook won regular season MVP).

I did the entire draft and am just keeping pace with FA signings right now. Once the big names are all off the board, I'll start up my final MyLeague of the year.

Not sure which team I'll be doing. In the past I've done my Hornets, but they had a pretty good offseason so that doesn't seem likely. I'll probably either do an expansion Seattle or Pittsburgh, or the Knicks depending upon what happens with Melo/Porzingis.

Re: **2K17 - How's your MyLeague/MyGM going?**

Started a Pelicans start today my league. Re- signed Holiday and traded future first rounders to get rid of Asik, Ajinca, and Pondexter. Signed Tyreke Evans to backup point, Tarik Black to spell Cousins, Anthony Tolliver for leadership and to come in at the four, and Nick Young to come in at the three.

PG: Holiday, Evans, Q Cook
SG: Moore, Crawford
SF: Hill, Young
PF: Davis, Tolliver, Diello
C: Cousins, Black

I simmed most of the season until the trade deadline to build up chemistry and we are currently 3rd in the west and fourth in the power rankings. Now we should have room to extend Cousins next year and sign another role player to help us compete in the West.
