I lowered the difficulty to All-Star last night and experienced the CPU shooting a sub 48% last night, I still lost but at least the %'s were more realistic. I also struggled shooting in the game too and my teammates didn't get a boost (obviously).

Maybe All-Star is the answer for now.

If you play on superstar the cpus %s are high and yours are lowered.

I thought they said that the ai would improve when you increase difficulty not just change the sliders

Naw they released an update that changed the sliders. Both CPU and User are lowered on Superstar and HOF. You can check the settings and see it yourself.
