I would love it but it won't happen. If they do have two teams I'd rather have the new team work on a college game than the park or pro am.

That's one of the things about the college game being gone, the game play guys were allowed to tune the game to be more sim oriented since it was really more of the hardcore basketball crowd who played it.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

College Hoops 2K8 - one of the best bball games ever, IMO. I had so many hours of crazy sim fun with that one!

The game only seems arcade like because it caters to people not shooting 40% from the field on open shots. At the end of the day its a video game and its meant to have a fun time playing. Seeing shots clank off the rim in a 5 or 6 minute game doesn't exactly bring the excitement that the casual fan plays 2k for.
Not trying to call you out or anything, but the 2K series was originally made as a basketball simulation. I know it's 2016 and the fanbase has a lot of casuals, but the sim guys who helped this series get as large as it is today during the early to mid 2000s should be taken good care of as well, IMO.

I've owned every 2K & since 2K8 this is what it has been in terms of gameplay.

And I've owned most 2K basketball games since 2K4. Yes, they provide a good sim product and I hope they continue to do that going forward.

The SIM mode/game could also have a MyPlayer/Park style mode, it would just be more realism-based. The ARCADE game/mode could be more over the top, fast and flashy.

2 games, 2K. Do it!
They won't do 2 game, lol. There's a 0.01% chance of them doing so. It makes no sense to do it.

Does the online play affect other modes besides MyPlayer?

Either way - I love PvP (Player vs Player) and if I could level up my guy purely with PvP, then I'd love it.

I think they could just separate the modes, though... I won't pay more than $30 for a Park/Pro-Am game.
