Auto post up/protect

I have a controller right? I'm the one playing? Okay then let me play, let me get the turnover like OP said. If I try to get close to MJ with AI to recreate the crossover I shouldn't be forced to post up.

If this animation must be in the game by force atleast make it easier to get out of. When I click L2 to get out of the animation the player drags his feet in a long animation, now the whole sequence looks foolish.

if the controller responsiveness was there, and the player movement wasn't so clunky, i could see this animation being okay. but unfortunately, it's not and just adds to the user's list of frustrations.

i don't need the stress in my life anymore though (seriously, this game can take a toll on you) - haven't played in months and just end up feeling sorry for you guys every time i come here.

I can honestly say this is the case.

When the game drops you give it your all. Eventually you get burned out, it happens with every game.

This is the fastest I have become burnt on a 2K in three years. I've come to two possible conclusions. One, I've gotten to the point that I've learned the mechanics of the game so well I have just flat out recognized the limitations of this franchise. Or Two, This year's game is very poorly balanced in relation to 16 or 15.

It's easier to play other games. This years version feels a lot like Madden has felt for me (historically). You can play by the "book" and do what you're supposed to do, but the reality is it's a game that is probably more arcade in nature than a true simulation. It's frustrating to choose an archetype like LDD and feel like my Post Scorer has better defensive ability on the perimeter. Add in the fact that time/money went into that individual MyPlayer that I don't even really touch anymore, and I can't help but feel like I've simply wasted money on 2K this year (and I've never felt like that.)

Everytime in 2k18 when i'm running up the court and no body is near me for a easy dunk, it just auto posts up and lets people catch up and makes me take a bad shot. It only just started happening a week ago, does anybody know how to fix it? I am getting very annoyed and it makes me unhappy.

i'm mostly a guard and this auto post up animation even effects me, ya barely notice ya get locked in it until ya dribble commands stop working, really throws off my flow to the movement of the game
