Why did you stop playing 2K17?

-Bad defense and player movement
-Boring MyCareer mode
-Terrible matchmaking in Play Now Online
-The game sometimes getting stuck at the Paul George loading screen

Control. Sometimes I felt like I was in mud, sometimes on skates, always being bumped and pushed to places I never wanted to go. I'm a long time 2K player and control has never been 2K's strong point, this year it either got much worse or I just got fatigued by it all.

+ load times, this game got stuck on the start screen for me so many times I just decided to spend my time elsewhere.

Defense not getting back in transition. Defense leaving their man open. Sluggish controls, the forced momentum comebacks to try and keep games close.

the game stopped being fun..

- i fought it all year long but this years game felt like a slap in the face and step backwards
- pro am atmosphere was way better on 2k16.
- too many patches, having to relaern the game every patch
- 2k's need to try to make up for folks terrible sticks skills or lack of basketball iq, when "separation by stick skills" was one of their main selling points
- i felt lied to this year. its marketing, i get it. but something about this years game just doesnt sit well with me
- pay to play model got old for me.

what i LOVED about this years game
- archatype systems
- facescan actually worked (kinda)
- gameplay on release date

didnt feel right without at least adding what i liked about this year, even though im making the switch to live on 18.

Sadly had more fun with Live's Pro am vs 2k17

I stopped playing because they kept tinkering with my jumper in Mypark.

Though I haven't stop YET ... the defensive rotations are completely broken.

No matter what settings I tinker, on/off ball set to deny/suffocate, full-court press, go over screens, you name it, my A.I defenders will more than likely sag off the opponent's best outside threat.

Not to mention the amount of cheap buckets the CPU scores on me purely because of lazy transition defense, or after a free throw attempt. The CPU's center will simply stroll down to the other side with NOBODY picking him up.

Also, when you try to dribbling for too long or try to pass inside, there's a high chance it will result in a turnover. BUT when the CPU does this, my A.I defenders are too slow to react, thus resulting in an easy basket. More often than not, it seems the bigs (your A.I teammate) are always the weak link.
