Yes to the 1st(I currently have a 74 SG Sharp and an 82 SF Post Scorer/ Shot Creator) and this is without VC glitches, guide videos or any money from my pocket.

No to the second but with a caveat. This game will likely have to be in your rotation if you want to be competitive. Once you get to around an 85 you can compete with pretty much any overall(imo). The catch is the grind to 85. It takes 200,000 VC. In Pro-Am(my ideal way of grinding) you earn 1,000 VC with a good grade(B+) and a win. This would take you 200 games to get you there if you happen to win every game. If you are like me and just do only Walk-On without friends you are likely gonna have a record of about .500(winning half/losing half) playing with random people and dealing with 2K's position randomizer(have fun dealing with 7"3" bigs as a PG). This leaves you with 100,000 VC. The rest comes from the losses which give you around 300(if you have crap teammates) to 600(if you have good teammates and you are involved). 100 * 600(best loss case scenario) is 60,000 VC. Doing the math this gives you 160,000 VC for going 100-100 under the best conditions.

A Pro-Am game is around 30 mins so 30 mins * 200 games is around 6,000 minutes. 6,000/60 = 100 hours(4 days) of game time. So for a 100-100 record it took 100 hours to get 160,000 VC. I believe it costs $50 or 60 USD for 200,000 VC last time I checked. Is this time investment worth it? You make the call.

I've tried Play Now(good VC rewards when ranking up) but with a guy of average skill set it isn't ideal to farm VC as the games themselves don't give much win or lose. I don't like shortening MyLeague/MyCareer games so I haven't tried there playing 5 minute quarters. I also haven't touched MyGM at all for VC strats.

After all this I've played 186 games of Pro-Am with a record of 77-109 + 60 PNO games for my two aforementioned characters.

Open MyTeam or MyCareer(if you haven't already). I suggest MyTeam as it's intro is about 15 minutes shorter than MyCareer if you haven't started either.

Can someone tell me how to do basic fadeaways? In the past, all you had to do was push the one stick away from the basket while shooting. I liked that. Way basic and simple.

Re: NBA 2K18 Q&A Thread

Hey guys, I haven't purchased 2k since 2k16 since I'm really only a casual NBA fan. Thanks for not putting a team in my market, NBA! . What are the main improvements to 2k18 that I'd notice? Trying to figure out if it's worth the buy this year. I'm primarily a presentation junkie and MyGM/MyLeague player. Thanks!

Don't know if this has been asked before but can you trade legends onto regular teams for season mode?
