The CPU doesn't call timeouts and you've known since launch. Y'all gonna fix
This? If you didn't know everyone of us are just beta testers on launch day. #StayEoke
I think they're trying to implement what the NBA has been trying to do in reducing the overall length of games. The NBA has reduced the number of timeouts each team has during the game and in the 4th quarter (or final 2 minutes, whichever it is). So I think this is product of 2K trying to create realism.

Note: I play on Hall of Fame, default difficulty, default setting, with ACE ON, offline with real NBA teams.
Technically, the CPU does call timeout. Maybe not as frequently as one has come to expect. But all I know from first hand experience is that they do especially when I'm putting a beat down on them and stringing together momentum runs. When I start hitting momentum runs, etc. the CPU finally succumbs and call timeouts. In a recent match with Warriors (user) vs. Nets (cpu), I've manage to get the cpu to use 4 of their 6 timeouts by the end of the 3rd quarter. They use the last one to sub their bench in when they've waived the white flag, or somewhere in the fourth quarter.
What I didn't like about 2k17's cpu timeout was that the CPU would call a timeout after almost every single timeout I would call with only 1-2 baskets in between. That was kind of annoying.
I know this is just one game, but just using it as one example. The timeouts Brooklyn had left at the end of regulation was 1. Hall of Fame, default settings.
Side note: Curious. Any particular reason the thread topic wasn't included in the title? If all thread topics simply stated, please fix this, memo to 2k, is it just me?, this is outrageous, or stuff like like, it makes it difficult trying to find relevant threads quickly.

Just a thought.
It's clickbaiting, plain and simple. Real pet peeve of mine.
As to the topic...same settings as the previous poster, except SS (with my team, Bulls, TO's on auto)
They call them to break up runs and make substitutions when the minutes dictate it.
