Are you guys seeing cross matching eg Kawhi guarding best perimeter player

Is anyone seeing the AI cross-match based on position? Like, if I put LeBron at PF and Crowder at SF, they won't put their own SF on LeBron and have the PF on Crowder. Does it just work for getting good defenders to guard good offensive players?

Im not seeing much of this. Im only playing with Philly and Dallas. I saw it a fair bit playing with the Clips last year.

Its noticeable for me, because the CPU always puts their PG on Simmons so I have a mismatch every time down the floor.

I see it in practically every game. I Player Lock onto Ben Simmons in MyLeague, with default Superstar sliders. He automatically plays some of the point guard position and my defensive assignment is almost never the point guard. When I play the Cavs, I guard Lebron, not Isaiah. When it's the Wizards, I'm on their PF or SF.

For the CPU, I'll see KD, Kawhi, or Lebron switched onto the other teams hot player every now and then. I've had Marcus Smart switched onto my Ben Simmons in Player Lock. Even with the mismatch in height, he still plays pesky defense like in real life.

I don't think I've ever seen the cpu make this adjustment

I do, but that doesnt effect CPU decision making
