I mean unless you're playing in my career mode and I think my gm, you should have complete control over who you start and play with. And yea it does bring more realism, but it's also a game too. There has to be a balance of that. And 2K does not have a good track record when it comes to injuries lately. It's been all or nothing with them the last few games.

Try to stay on topic please. Your argument is invalid and contributes nothing to fixing a problem. You're just throwing your two cents about how we should be happy that there is this glorious bug prevents injuries in the game.

FYI, there is an option to disable injuries for non-sim gamers like yourself. People who enjoy the sim aspect of the game would like to see a decent sim...including injuries, which are a huge part of the the NBA...

But anyway, I don't know what to tell you OP. If you're not able to get injuries in the game, it's probably due to patches doing away with the injury bug everyone was complaining about early in the game's release, making it close to impossible to get an injury. But if you're looking to start players you wouldn't normally because of injuries, the next best thing I can think of is to "pretend" your desired player(s) is injured and don't him. You're kinda SOL if you're looking to play with an injured player who can still be out on the court but with decreased stats. You never specified what injuries you were looking to create, be they ones you can play through or ones where you had to sit out multiple games.
