2K19 Needs to Focus on DEFENSE

Yeah but the cycle never even started. It's been offensively heavy for years. I've started a thread years ago and a few others followed yearly. It's 2017 going to 2018 and lo and behold we have a thread about upgrading defense.

Hell I WISH there was a cycle to complain about.

2K needs to focus on making '19 FUN again and not like a 2nd job like these past few years

I know not everybody is a big fan of 2k15 here because alot of the cheese, but that game has endless fun

Just bring 16 defense back. It was the best out of all the 2k's in my opinion

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I am happy I am not alone in this. I want 2K to reach its full potential. I want the games to be good and enjoyable. Video games are supposed to be fun and allows you to escape from reality. I have close to 60 games and no other games make me feel like this except NBA 2K (17 and 18 only).

While working on Defense they should simultaneously make sure the ACE OTF MENU works with it as well.

And this is a message for Scott OG.

Don't make any promises about streaming and explaining defensive concepts, you have made this promise for 2 cycles and did not deliver.

Can’t speak for PNO but defense needs a lot of improving in pro am. sliding in the paint , ball always going back to the offense after a block , loose balls favoring offense , slow-reacting animations , ball clipping , etc .. just take a lot of the fun away from defense . Of course those things won’t be 100% but it should be better for a 2017 game.

I don't know how many people here listen to Da_Czar and Born and company on the Sim Hangout shows, but when you hear Czar explain why so many things are the way they are, It makes me take a step back from my frustrations.

Emotionally I still want everything fixed yesterday, but listening to the breakdown of what fixing each area actually entails, I understand why it is a process that will take severally games to approach the expectations that we have here.
