You know, it still baffles me how the 73-win Warriors made it into 2k as a classic team, but the Cavaliers team that beat them in the Finals (in historic fashion) still haven't made it into the game.

At first I thought it was ridiculous to add them so soon, but they are now a completely different team that I'd be cool with it.



New uniforms / logos since then, and really J.R & Love are the only guys left.


They'll probably wait till 2k20 though since they've only been adding new classic teams on the even years (2k12, 2k16, 2k18

Honestly, do we really need another team that's only 3 years old and yet another version of LeBron James?

I wish 2K would have an open conversation with the community about the classic teams. The lack of communication has caused some people to speculate if 2K does not have enough space to add more teams. Not sure if that even makes sense.
It'd be great if 2K asked what teams we would like to see added to the game. Maybe be open and upfront with us about players they are unable to sign for the game.

I always say the more teams the better. I think the '16 Cavs would be great. Hell I'd take a TMac Magic team just for prime TMac even though those teams might not necessarily be considered classic. Not expecting any classic team surprises this year but hope they at least give some love to the teams and players in terms of visuals and likeness. Maybe some surprise players (I know a few were leaked at the event last night).
