I really like the defense in the prelude. We should wait until the game is out for a couple of weeks though before we start saying anything needs to be nerfed. I highly doubt pure sharps are locking up any decent players.

The issue last year was any pure sharp that knew what they were doing would annihilate anyone, including lockdown defenders.

Yes, pure sharps couldn’t play defense either but nobody that chooses a lockdown defender wants to go into a game knowing they have to out score their opponent.

anyone that knows what he is doing would annihilate someone who does not know what he is doing regardless of what build.....

if you go into a game as a lockdown defender thinking you have to outscore your opponent you need to put the game away a or just stick to 1 on 1 .
that is not the purpose of that build.

...so you’re saying lockdown defenders aren’t supposed to be volume scorers? Wow, tell me more!

Lockdown defenders were at a massive disadvantage last year. That’s the point. Certain architypes would light you up regardless because of exploits, so the only way to do well was score points yourself. It wasn’t because I didn’t know what I was doing. It was a wasted archytipe last year and everyone knows it.
