NBA 2K20 / NBA 2K21 - OFFICIAL TRIANGLE SYSTEM THREAD

Hi all, really new to MyLeague and i got few questions about the triangle offense

1. Is the 2k22 still applies here? I heard its a new Gen, not sure if its true or not

2. when draft scouting: what basic attributes to look for that might fight into triangle offense?

3. what attributes to train on players so they can reach over 3 or 4 stars?

there few other questions to come but i want to understand the attributes first so i can understand the system proficiency. I got it up to 3 stars but trying to figure out what made the players 4 or 4.5 :/ please help

You want to look for players that have high IQ especially the defensive consistency rating. Training focus would be heavier in those areas as well. Also for Bigs, you want players with high post up tendencies and preferably over a 85 rating. You can’t train tendencies so this is important if you want a 5 star big.

For 2k23 I’ll be starting a new thread specifically for New Gen. The goal is to get tickets into the devs to have the offense run like it does in last gen with all of the correct pressure releases, extended branches, and the ability for any player (not just the center) to fill the post when in freelance. With MJ on the cover and the Jordan challenge back I think they’ll have a business case to make those changes sooner in the cycle rather than later IF we get tickets in.
