Its like if we had the original 2K FT system and everyone had a problem going to the line--the meta would be foul guys unless its a contested shot--which just isn't how NBA basketball is played...again, COUNTER to the sport. OPEN and WIDE OPEN shots should be falling at a 50-60% rate.

Just had a guy get on the mic on me in the first quarter, up 16-4. I promptly muted him, and then proceeded to humble him.

That's my one thing. It's all fun and games until you get on the mic, then I get serious. And I was really just trying to experiment my lineups/freelance against a human player. He could've had that win lmao.

One thing I will say: I hate Gobert. The guy was literally closing out and blocking 3 point shots. If you don't match him up against a shooting big, you have no chance, whatsoever. I don't know if it's badges, or what, but it really feels like my guys use the worst possible animations just to let him block it. There was one play where he overplayed the PnR, and I got Jakob into the paint, completely free. I went for the dunk, and Jakob did the two handed one where he puts it behind his head, and it got blocked by a Gobert who really shouldn't have even been in the play. The way people fly for some of these blocks is ridiculous.

Honestly, I feel as though FTs go in at too high a clip. I wish that the displayed percentage was the actual percentage FTs went in at. Right now, FT percentages are unrealistically high, especially for how little penalty is associated with attacking the paint in the first place.... But that's the least of our worries this year

Also, with the issues near the rim defensively, I've found that just off-balling the post seems to be the best remedy. I hate it but I guess I'll swallow my pride if it means the pump-faking yahoos get shut down

B) screaming “Let’s go!!” after every go ahead bucket.
C) I do the Vince Carter “it’s ova!” Circa the 2000 slam dunk contest after you hit the game finishing three...

I wish that were true...I really do. But gamplay will let these guys pump-fake until they get a foul:



And for the "you gotta do it" crowd. NOPE. Trying to strip them is too risky--rarely works anyway..I tested it the last couple of days. Bigger issue is I gotta leave a good 3pt shooter WIDE OPEN to counter this crap--which is the definition of a bad design:

I'll leave Gobert every single time. And then rotate to shooters.

hahahaha a few notes there. One, it's pretty late. Two, my pregnant wife is sleeping in the bedroom. Three, I like to stay relaxed. If my friends were over then yes. I'm yelling and talkiing lol
