Unpluckable is a must have. That badge pops up everytime i touch the ball lol.

As for needle threader, its a waste.
I feel you can complete passes regardless.

Same for breakstarter. R1+L1 after a rebound connects 9 out of 10.

yeah wasent so sure about breakstarter and needle threader.

have little issue now getting assist but was chucking it up to most people not having that many badges yet.

they would have been the last badges id get.

did you try dream shake yet?

I have it on gold. I see it pop up a lot after doing a drop step too.
Drop step has a built-in pump fake, if i recall correctly. I’m pretty sure dream shake makes people recover more slowly from a dropstep

if its anything else. you suck vs that above mix of archs.

its because the rim protector & intimidator badges once they get to gold or HOF are super OP. there is no big man scoring badge that can go up against it. in theory you need to be a shooting big to at least counter that silly op paint defense. problem is. bigs can't get a high enough boost in 3's to make it matter enough. and i know 2k did that because you had bigs splashing 3's like guards which is not true unless we're talking about prime dirk.

So with all this said. your best bet is to make a Center where you have Mostly Green(shooting) and mostly red (defense and rebounding). i know..i know you dont want to do that. but making him a part post scoring is not going to make sense because you will most likely go up against the build i stated. when i say every body and they mama are using that rebounder/defender build. I mean...EVERY body is using that build. you rarely see any other type of big. and when you do. you dont need to be badged out like crazy to compete and score on them. its that one build that destroys any realism in the game for big men. if you dont know what you're doing with that build. you're guaranteed 16 to 18 rebs per game. if you do know what you're doing we're talking about 25 to 30 per. thats how op it is.
Last year I had a Slashing Post Scorer. 7'1. Rebounding was in the 70s with silver rebounding badges. Strength was on 91 so which was a big disadvantaged against max weight Glass Cleaners. But I still outrebounded those builds

I'm confident I can make the 1st build work as it has 79 defensive rebounding and I can get 3 gold badges and I can get boost. I already got it to 81ovr. My main concern now is being overpowered downlow, which has happened when a big drop steps and gets an automatic dunk. My strength is still low, like the 70s. It maxes at 88, so I'm gonna have to grind to 95 and do the gym training which will possibly place my strength over 90.

As for OP Rim Protector badges, well I'm not worried about that. I've scored on Rim Protectors in 2k19, Post Fade is ridiculous if you know what you're doing.

I just wish my guy was faster and had inside finishing.

Re: Need help on a new Center build.

FWIW, not a C, but I really love my 3nD PF. 6'9" 240 lbs and a 7'3" wingspan. 3 point rating tops out at 74, but I'm shooting around 42% from 3 in Rec games with him and am blocking shots like crazy.

I can get abused if I end up being put at C in Rec against a 7'3" max weight type, but for the most part, I've held up pretty well on the glass and I'm very happy with everything else.

Here's 1st new Build at 7'1 max weight, max wingspan. NO inside badges whatsoever. Strength maxes at 84 is suspect But I can take Rim Protectors out the game completely just standing at the 3 point line.

Here's they 2nd build. 7'0 max weight, normal wingspan. Strength is 95 That alone could prove more worthy, but idk. Not sure how dependable that 3 ball gone be, mid-range should be ok. I wanted to go up on height, but that messes with shooting.

Which pie chart are these? And do you play Park, Rec, or Proam?

Is there any way on the first build to get more finishing badges without sacrificing too much elsewhere?
Hooks, dropsteps, and backdown punisher are important for a post scorer, in my opinion.

Intimidator Gold, Box Gold, and Rebound Chaser gold. That's why I'm failing to see why it would be a bad build. Because you can get gold badges. What I could do is work on purely defense. Max the Rebounding and Interior Defense and get all 9 badges. If it works then I can work on everything else.

Now there is a 3 & D pie chart. But I wanted to be more like a post scorer.

I'll have to play with the charts and builds later when I get home, but doesn't the green/red pie chart also have good post fade?

I don't think you need max shooting to hit long 2s or even some 3s. You need the right jumper, good timing, badges, and run the offense well enough with good team mates.

The Green/Red pie chart doesn't have high Post Fade, only maxes at 80. Post hook only goes to 76.

My first build is the all green pie chart. I maxed my post fade at 95.7'1 max wing span, max weight.
Getting more finishing badges would be tough. You can lower the post fade and shooting. There's also play making. I wouldn't be willing to sacrifice any defense/rebounding.

2klabs gives you the stats on whatever builds you choose.
