I would like a real SIM game especially for offline.
Remove all the unnecessary animations or animations the aren't done in the NBA.

COMPLETELY REDO ATTRIBUTES.

Use actual vertical: 42"
Use actual wingspan: 7'3"


Use real percentages on all shots:
3pt: 33%
Close shot: 43%
Mid: 35%

Remove that dang slot machine!!!
Add physics and foot planting

How about allow us to add head bands.

Expecting great graphics maybe with some new physics/movement.

If developers learned something, I expect being able to save rosters LOCALLY from day 1.

I would love player models to be based off of a human skeleton so that there was no clipping, every player was solid, had weight that needed transferring and all animations had unique branching points throughout them, without any of these clumpy transitions between them.

The game already looks real enough, its just the animations and dodgy transitions that let it down.

Also would love some work to be done on ball physics for rebounding, and net physics and sounds so you can get a whole manner of sounds of the ball coming off the backboard, the rim, swishing the net etc. and when hands slap it on missed blocks etc. think that sort of stuff would just really be a super nice touch if they have the resources to allocate to that.

I expect as if im already watching a real basketball game...graphics, animation and presentation wise...

from cut scene to interviews to sideline report, coach being interviewed in small window while you playing the game, to halftime reports and "kennyplays".

i expect 2k to focus solely in NBA players and NBA games.

real sound arena that sync with reporters.

i expect it to be an experience rather than just a game.

Really hoping that we can Mod the game with the new system. If we have the options that the PC folks have, the options will be limitless. Creating missing legends and teams will not be a problem. Also, being able to mod the net and rim physics will be huge.

-I suspect they will spend more time on individual player tendencies and animations.
Like everybody will be as life like as DAngelo Russell.

-Crowd and arena atmosphere completely has to be redone. Way too generic.

-Shooting mechanics need to be rebooted.

- More focus on Weight and aerobics i.e; speed with the ball along the baseline should be nerfed (this can be done now)

I'm really hoping that MyLeague doesn't take a step back. Hopefully, the team is already working on the PS5 version (and that's why ML didn't get a lot of love this year) so we don't see another bare bones version like 2K14.

Aside from the obvious gameplay upgrades like reducing clipping, smarter AI, and better animations along with the game just looking prettier, then my biggest wish for PS5 is basically getting features back that we used to have on PS4 and XBox360.

Most of these features weren't necessarily on NBA 2k as much as other sports games but I'd love to see them return.

MyLeague connected online (do everything on you online in ML that you can do when sitting in front of your console, with the exception of actually playing the game)
New CAP - you can upload pics for each CAP like GameFace for EA but no limit). Things like more hairstyles, hair colors, face/body shapes, etc. The ability to give players CAP's tattoos and a tattoo creator.
Community Share - For Stadium sounds, tattoos, etc.

I remember when NCAA Football (I think it was 12 or 13) was released and it has a Dynasty Website and Team Builder, that was one of the first times I thought that was so cool and innovative and that was what "next-gen" gaming was all about. I think some innovations in other areas like having Twitch on consoles and people being more interested in MyPlayer type of modes, not to mention that some of that stuff (community sharing) opens them up to legal trouble, then everyone got away from that but I'd love to see it come back.
