Maybe if Russ has grown. He used to be around Curry's height at one point. He might be a legit 6'3" now as opposed to 6'2.25"

People always underrate Curry’s height. I think he’s a legit 6’3 at least in shoes. I’ve seen him in person before and he’s not short at all. I’ve always thought Westbrook was at least 6’4 or 6’5. How about Dame? I feel he’s 6’0 but he’s not as manly as curry so he looks shorter then be probably is but definitely not 6’3

Why the NBA finally wants official height listings: GAMBLING. They finally have a monetary reason for enforcing this (and it's the only reason that they will).

For players, they have been rounding up whenever possible for years. Size = money.

For players that are 6'1" and a quarter inch, who are wearing shoes that make them 6'2" and a half, you'd better believe they are rounding that up to 6'3".

The way the league has trended though I'd be more interested in WINGSPAN as that has proven to be more impactful than height. We have 6'4" and 6'5" players at SF right now because they have 7 foot wingspans. Whereas J.J. Redick has a wingspan smaller than his 6'4" height if I'm not mistaken.

They are now showing the height without shoes when in the past the used height with shoes.

So 6’10 w/o shoes it’s the old 6’11.5.
