NBA 2K21 - Next-Gen Impressions

Do the graphics in person feel next gen? How does the shooting feel? You guys have given a rebirth to my hype for this game after being underwhelmed by YouTube

This is just the first half. Shot aim meter. HOF

This may be the first year that you have to play small over big. Offensive Rebounding is not OP for every tall player so far. First time I have ever kept Gobert and Davis to no offensive rebounds for a half. They both are tall and excellent o board men.

They fixed shooting off the dribble, and bs closeouts affecting shots. For that reason you gonna have to switch more. Staying in catch hedge all game gonna get you burnt.

Specifically from what I've seen, I DON'T like:

- the position of the players when they dribble without being pressed by the defender; Why are they all bent over like the Hunchback of Notre Dame?

- Too many bad shoot taken by the CPU, it takes impossible shots especially in the center of the area in traffic.

- Players dribbling when they receive in the elbow area; you (almost) never put the ball on the ground while remaining stationary in this position to prevent them from snatching the ball in no time. In NBA2K I see it constantly.

- Defensive rebound and sprint down to carry the ball without there being a real fastbreak situation.

This is the point Dirk. Probably I’m wrong with the impression but since the hype for the game was so hight I’m a little bit disappointed for what I’ve seen

Also not an impression (having trouble getting a console) but I just wanted to say, really enjoying this thread (alabamarob, your impressions are particularly enjoyable man, great stuff!).

Was starting to get underwhelmed by the YT content thus far (except Czar's small video). These impressions have revived my enthusiasm.
