I only have one request. This is my favorite NBA season and I would love to play an entire franchise starting in this year, controlling the Bulls and letting the CPU control the rest of the teams, but all of the free agents end up getting signed because of their high overalls. I'm pretty sure there's no way to not include them, so my only other solution is to drop all of their overalls significantly enough that while they still may be in there, they are not factors.

Is this possible for you to do without overloading your work?

Two possible solutions:

1) edit all the FA's down to 25 OVR so the CPU doesn't sign them, I won't to doing this as it is too time consuming given all the other things I have to adjust in the actual roster, but you can do it once the final edition is released.

2) Control all 30 teams, which is the best solution. For one it will let you re-set the rotations for all the teams since the re-set when you start a season/association this will give you a more realistic experience since the CPU won't give a player more than 34 minutes per game from what I have seen. You won't have to manage the rosters or anything for the other teams just set the rotations and only play the Bulls games and sim all the rest. This is how I usually do it and is how I set-up the 95-96 association file I made for 2k11. The CPU won't sign any FA's if you use this method.

I also recommend playing with injuries off in season/association mode since you only have a 12 man roster and not 15. I haven't decided if I will do an association file this year or not. Whenever I get around to actually playing with these I like to have to rosters as real as possible so the 15 man rosters work better especially since I reset them to opening day rosters(currently post-trade deadline to represent playoffs).

I am doing a season with the knicks and I Believe there is the option to have the CPU teams NOT sign any players

I definitely gotta check these out when ever I can pry myself loose from BF3 , I missed out on your classic rosters on 2k11 due to me being tied up editing rosters like a mad scientist all the time lol.
