How is this conversation relevant to the tool again? Wouldn't it be more suited in the "editing roster w/ hex editing" thread? This thread is for people to get support on the tool, research and discussion about everything else shouldn't be here.

I read bweber's request the first time. If I figure out a way to do it, I'll do it. Please, let's keep the thread clean though for those who try to find out more about the tool and get help.

So far so easy. Association files seem to have all the information we've decoded just 8 bytes later than a roster file. So I've tried to add Association file support, but keep in mind this is completely untested and very experimental. Keep backups.

Is it possible to insert values below zero for attribute/tendencies/etc when using hex editors?

Ratings and tendencies are 0-255 values. Ratings are calculated as follows:

Rating - 25 * 3 = Value

Substitute Value with 0 and 255 and you get a minimum rating of 25, and a maximum rating of 110.

Tendencies seem to be set between 0-99 for everyone, but the roster format should allow you to go up to 255. Don't know what that would cause to the game.
