That's exactly what I mean by "scripted"...both Melo and Nash have identical touches values, with 2 big man options for the screener. And if there's a PnR, it's called for Melo...
I do t know much about usage but the scale seems legit. What happens Melo comes out and Nash is still in?

I wrote this in bigtreydawg' thread.
I MY OPINION,coach profiles have an high impact on playcalling.
I tested this with Westbrook and Durant and I gave to them the same touches rating:
with 100 in coach profile "close shot" I saw more plays called for Westbrook(100 close shot tendencies)
with 100 mid shot in coach profile, more plays for KD(higher mid tendency than Russell).

I'm not sure it is the way to go but I hope it can help.

Interesting, so if you wanted a team to more post plays, would you increase the coach profiles close shot tendency or would it be the inside shot tendency?

I really hope this isn't the case because I think the only definetive way to lower points in the paint is to lower those two locations.

I don't think there is a correlation between the Close Shot Tendency (whether in-game or in Coaching Profiles) and how many post shots are taken. I've got all my Coaching Profiles set to 0 for Close Shot and teams still take several post shots per game during FL and called plays.

When?! And how do you feel about the Tomba profiles? Do you think they work? Also is there a google doc or spreadsheet with the original coaching profiles anywhere ?

Doesn't help at all. This game drives me crazy, lol. It's kinda frustrating, since if that stupid playcalling stuff would work as 2k advertises it, we could make this game look incredibly real.
Right now I'm looking for specific attributes that influence playcalling. For Melo vs. Nash, it's not OffAwr/shooting tendencies/sig skills/freelance tendencies or touches unless I put Nash on 100, screwing up everything.

Did you see this with coach mode on? Also, I somehow don't exactly understand, since if coaching tendencies are tied to individual playcalling (WB higher close shot, KD higher mid shot), what about pass first PGs, who have maybe the lowest shooting tendencies in the lineup?
