If I enter the slider set while in association mode, they will be there when I load it back up the next day.
If I enter them while in the main menu (non-game mode/exhibition use) they don't save when I turn off my console.
All I see is an option to "save roster" but nothing else. Would love to get it saved for exhibition use like my association because I find it to be an exceptional set.
Are your settings in the main menu supposed to auto-save when you make changes?

You have to go to the home menu, then you will see the saving icon and the settings will be saved

Re: Trifecta 2K14 Sliders

I've played 4-5 games with the Hawks using the Updated roster and these Sliders. I have quarter length at 10. I struggle on Defense which I don't know if I should blame my sub-par on the ball Defense or the fact that the Hawks have nobody above 65 On the Ball Defense. I also have it set to Automatic Playcalling.

Al Horford seems to miss some easy putbacks and I can't get Korver to hit 3's consistently. Getting Teague and Louis Williams to the basket is probably the hardest thing so far. I'm 0-5 Tonight but I was something like 3-0 last night with the opening day rosters but I'm pretty sure the Rosters aren't affecting anything.

Does shot release still matter with Real % turned on? Any tips on getting your guards to the basket? This is my Beta before I start my serious Hawks Association.

Since I have been playing 12 min quarters, I did these changes and played with the new roster. This is the funnest game I have had in a while. First quarter both teams slumped and I was up 23-20. During the second quarter and early third they dominated us on both sides to build a 21 point lead. Durant was slumping and Westbrook started 2-10. Late in the third and early in the 4th I fought my way back into in behind a balanced effort. We went back and forth the entire 4th quarter. I finally tied it on a Thablo three with 1:30 left. They scored four straight. Thablo hit a three with 22 seconds left, then the Heat threw it away on the inbound. Then Westbrook threw a pass out of bounce. Mario hit 1/2 free throws. As time was running down I drove with Russel, he missed, Ibaka got the rebound and put it back in, but his shot was too late and the Heat run by two. Fun game. I have to work on, defense as the Heat were able to drive the paint at will.

Re: Trifecta 2K14 Sliders

I'm loving the sliders on All-Star, as they provide a very realistic game of basketball. I tried Superstar, but the 2K nonsense gets way too ridiculous for me. The CPU is always too perfect and wide open shots are always bricks on my end of the court, making it so that I'm actually afraid of taking any shot outside the paint.

On All-Star, however, I find the game to be quite balanced. Stars dominate like they should, CPU controlled teams take what the defense gives them on offense and make proper adjustments on defense, the ebb and flow of the game is spot on, and controller smashing moments aren't abundant like on Superstar. I'm having a lot of fun.

Re: Trifecta 2K14 Sliders

These sliders without a doubt represents realistic NBA basketball. I tweaked the shooting sliders back it's original set because it's what I am accustomed to and I don't use real player shooting percentage. I also put my shot blocking back to the original set.

When I started using these I started my association with the Lakers. My first game I noticed a positive change from tip off. No more PG driving to the basket every other play. Chris Paul actually dished the ball and his teammates up like he does in real life.

In another game against the Spurs I went into the 4th quarter with the lead by 1 because Kobe made a go ahead basket with like 15 seconds. On the last play Tony Parker drove to the basket of course and missed the layup but, while the clock was running Tiago Splitter dunked the go ahead basket back in on a tip dunk. It was pretty realistic. Then on my last play I couldn't throw it in to Kobe and I think Hill threw the damn ball out of bounds. I was so upset at him for doing that, but I had fun.

Finally last game I played was against thr Mavericks. Harris did a lot of drive and kick mostly. It was pretty sick. Dirk also caught it in the block like 5 times that game and did his signature fadeway and made like 3 out of 5. I defeated them though by like 3.

The sliders have actually made this game for me playable one again.Good stuff.

Re: Trifecta 2K14 Sliders

Bit the bullet and got 2K14. I can see some nice gameplay improvements, but I think the game really needs a patch. Plugged in the sliders, and had a nice game between LAC and Portland. I won with the Clips 112-110. The game was really based around the bigs, LMA, Griffin, and Cousins doing most of the scoring. I'm still learning controls, but overall, the game flowed nicely. I finally was able to get Paul to the rim late, he scored most of his 20 pts in the 4th. I was up for awhile, but the Blazers came back late and would've tied it if Griffin had missed 2 FTs coming down the stretch. Good work Straight, looks like another great set.

EDIT: Was playing w/ the Trifecta Set
