I don't mean to brag... but my 6'10 athletic PF is a beast. First game- 22 pts; 15 reb; 4 ast; A+ teammate rating; Draft Prediction- 2nd Round Pick 9 to the Pistons.

Downloaded it for PS3 today. The game is good. I am a 3PT Specialist SF, shot an abysmal 3-13, and had to hear the 2K Insider call my performance nothing short of "dominating."

My biggest gripe is that the controls don't seem entirely tuned. I assume that I can't do the triple threat move or the post fadeaway because of my stats, which is annoying but hopefully resolvable in time. Still, moving back and forth along the perimeter is a little jerky. It's like it doesn't want to move my character until the crossover or whatever animation is through... just watch some videos of people doing the dribble course to see how that split-second of hesitation loses a bit of control.

So I got this for PS3 tonight and wanted to make a player and get him really good at dunking so I could mess around like that guy for the dunking videos. But I made a 6'7", 205lb SF who's 43 overall and he can't dunk - I can't even select his packages. What's worse, I can't do any dribble moves to beat the Attack the Basket drill. I mean, this guy has ZERO handles apparently.


Do I have to make a SG or C to be able to dribble or dunk?


My Player seems addicting though. and I've never been interested in these kind of modes before.
