Do people actually play 12 min quarters?

I play 12 min qtrs. You can't play every game if the object is to play multiple seasons so you have to come up with a format. I typically play evey game the first full month of year, then one of the following:

-Play all the home games.
-Play all the away games.
-Play only games vs opps over .500%
-Play the toughest game every week.

One of the above is the way to go, and you still end up playing about 50% of your games. Then in April if you need to make a playoff push play those games. You just gotta be creative man....

If I played 12 min quarters my stats would be sooo off. Games would be 160 - 190 a game. as my skills stand now, I get realistic numbers from a 7 minute quarter.

with the ability to set minutes for the simulated games, i'd be good with 3 minute quarters. as long as my stats are lining up with the rest of the league, i'm a happy guy. that being said, i play with 10-11 min. quarters.

Im the same way with the replays, but I never done 12 mins before, ive always done 8-10 mins. and 82 Game season. Playing a 29 game season isnt the same for me

Simulation = Close to real as u can get (99%), so playin anything less than 12 minutes isn't sim in my book. I'm not callin anyone out because people do have their reasons, but if you want to play real basketball, you should play real NBA minutes. After all, it's an NBA game.

I never understand why people buy a sports game to sim it. I mean, after all, it's a game that you bought to play, so why sim? I rather get my money's worth from a game than to sim it; but hey, that's just me I guess.

Last year I played 10 min quarters in 2k10, but this year 12 minutes seem to be the way to go. A good set of sliders could change that though.

I love 12 mins qtrs. I can guarantee you it is the wedding stuff getting in the way.
