It's official: the patch weakened Offensive Rebounds (tested!)

Offensive rebounds were 42% too low before the patch and after the patch. There is no difference.

I could go into great statistical detail to prove my point, but most of your eyes will glaze over.

If you get into good position, of course you can grab as many as you want. Why wouldn't that be the case?

But, the game does not produce Offensive Rebounds realistically on either end (i.e. the AI does not put offensive players in good position to grab offensive rebounds), no matter what you do. Your only option is to run around and be the Offensive Rebound police for the entire league.

I understand how unimportant this actually is but, if we are going to have the conversation, it should be informed. And if MLB: TC had Pujols max out at 20 HR's the whole forums would be up in arms.

Offensive rebounds working properly is absolutely important, its one of the four factors of basketball.

I mainly watch CPU-CPU and its pretty darn clear to me that the AI makes little effort on the offensive glass. I'm not really concerning myself with biasing my sliders or rosters to account for this, since the only way to really have it fixed is by VC releasing another patch.

I meant with a war going on and all...

I'm skeptical that it can be fixed with a patch. The problem seems much deeper.
