Anyone else draft their own team??

I like the draft feature makes me feel more in control of my team as I get to choose my own players.

Here is my starting five, I took the first pickin the draft:

PG- Aron Brooks
SG- Jason Terry
SF- Lebron
PF- Luis Scola- This guy is really good in this game
C- Brendon Haywood

I am currently 6-2, play most games but sim some of the home games against lesser opponents and play on the road agaist tough teams more of a challenge.

Let me know if you have done a draft and your starting 5

On a side note. Your team looks pretty solid. I would run with that team any day.

Yeah i got a pretty decent draft

pg - stephen curry (2nd)
sg - jason terry (4th)
sf - Kevin durant(1st)
pf - Kevin Love (3rd)
c - Kendrick perkins (5th)

my sixth man is glen davis (6th pick)

Lost my first year in 2nd round of playoffs. Wont my 2nd year. Jason terry is gone from my team and evan turner replaced him.

What I always do to create a little variety is to not do serpentine drafts. Serpentine makes all the teams too even player wise.

I usually decide on a team I want to play as before starting and play as that team no matter the spot in the draft. My T'wolves team includes:

PG: Johnny Flynn
SG: Monta Ellis
SF: Wesley Johnson
PF: Blake Griffen
C: Roy Hibbert
6: Kyle Korver (gotta love that 3 bomb hes got)

Got this team with the 29th pick in the draft (so the 29th pick of each round). Felt I came out pretty good albeit a little young and underdeveloped.

Wow you lucked out bro, Steph Curry never EVER fell to the 2nd round when i've done these. Usually top 20. You got everything you need with those guys.

My problem is that come the second season I'm always above the salary cap and can't resign my best players. It's hard to know what they'll get paid since that's automatic just when you draft them...unless I'm doing something wrong.

Some of my favorite players to pick:

Curry, Love, Hinrich, Kevin Martin, P Gasol, M Gasol, Reddick, Gortat

Any other players I shouldn't overlook? Also, what's more fair, the fixed draft or serpentine?
