The ps2 is outdated technology. When the majority of the demographic has moved on to the next gen console the best thing for a business to do is move with them.

It is not discrimination MG. Should I be upset if the developers of shogun total war 2 don't make the game compatible for my 8 year old thinkpad t-23? Nope. If I want to play it properly, I need to get a system that can properly play it...You can get a ps3 or 360 for well under $150.00 if you look hard enough. While you are right that the ps2 should have everything the other consoles have when they release it, I'm saying they shouldn't even bother to make it for ps2 as it isn't capable of pulling off the same things as the other systems(graphics,animations,etc.). It's a waste of 2k bodies and dev time imo.

It's not discrimination, it's progress. It's also a waste of resources to spend time on the PS2 because the game isn't going to sell as well as the other platforms.

Yes, it's discrimination. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. If you do not enjoy the product, don't buy it. If nobody buys it, they'll stop making it. Since people continue to purchase the game, people are obviously enjoying it.
