Looking at Washington they are a lot better than I thought. Wall, Young, and McGee are a good core to build around if you can trade Lewis. Is Blatche any good? Or should he just be traded?

I like Washington, but there are some other teams I really like too. Golden State, Minnesota, and New Jersey are rebuilding teams I like. The Warriors have Curry and Monta at G to build around but also David Lee is a perfect fit for my offense at PF or C. I also like Ekpe Udoh. Minnesota has a very good young core in Love, Beasley, Johnson, and Flynn to build around. New Jersey has Williams and Lopez and a few good role players like Morrow and Vujacic. I also like Miami, New York, and Oklahoma City but am afriad that they might be too easy. Does anyone have any advice about these teams or opinions on which one to pick?

Blatche is solid on this game if you work on his defense and hustle (Wizards fan here, dude is so lazy). I usually just trade him though as he is a bit of a cancer IRL.

Just pick whichever team you like the most IMO. Every team has at least a couple young players to build around (even the Cavs with Hickson/Sessions/Gee becomes good). I personally love Golden State's Uniforms and sometimes that is what the choice comes down to (plus they have a ton of alternatives which I love!)

Yeah of all these teams I like Golden State's uniforms the best. I don't really have a favorite team so that is part of the reason why it is harder to choose a team. I'm just more of a fan of the NBA in general and like watching games regardless of who is playing.

How much can you usually get for Lewis? A lot of you seem to have experiance with the Wizards. As a player, I like Lewis a lot but with his contract you just about have to trade him.

Best you can usually do is an expiring just for him. I traded him for Kirilenko (Jazz) straight up I believe. Hurts the team offensively but helps a good bit on D.

Also Yi has a good bit of trade value on this game (3 stars) but he's pretty fun to develop and play with due to his size and shooting. You can package him and Blatche and get some pretty decent offers for them if you'd like, especially if you throw a 1st round pick in there too.

John Wall became 96 in year 3 and 99 in year 4 for me. Also, I tanked the first year to get Perry Jones who has huge potential and is a guy that has crazy athleticism and a good shot as well. You also have a lot, and I mean a lot of cap room if you get all expirings. I couldn't get Melo but I did get Shannon Brown and Z-Bo. I kept McGee as my center and he becomes alright. And there I got an amazingly young and talented team loaded from PG to C.

My brother also did a wizards association and he did actually sign Melo along with Perry Jones (who can play both PF & SF).

Does anyone know what good players are free agents in the 1st offseason? And anymore opinions on the team I should pick?

I've done a couple sims after first year to check it out, melo usually tests the free agency with the current 3/11 rosters if you get rid of lewis and some other garbage u can just sign him easily.

J.R smith is another all star, jeff green, uhh who else i think carter, aaron brooks some other guys too
