NBA 2K12 - Bugs and Glitches (360, PS3)

Game Mode: All

Problem/ Bug: Certain players cannot be assigned their own dunk packages. Looks like there's a bug that requires a minimum dunk rating (90+) to assign players their VERY OWN dunk package. Ex: Kobe, Rose, Garnett, and Ellis have sig dunk packages that cannot be assigned to them (possibly Richardson and VC too: I haven't checked)... Very frustrating for those among us who enjoy seeing a realistic signature dunk from these players.

Game mode: My Player

Bug/Glitch description: thorough customization of a my player's face causes the center of the players brow to extend outward as far as his nose. this problem distorts both the profile and front view of the players face.

Game mode: All

Bug/glitch: It is happening right now - I can't start a game. I select the teams, press Start, it starts to load and then goes back to "Home" screen - I can't play the game. I will try to restart the PS3.

EDit: it worked after restart. But the game definitely got confused last time. I couldn't start a game

My Player

After creating a My Player, I experienced a hard crash while saving the created player for the first time. I had selected an athletic PG and then I allowed the game to idle for around 15 minutes. I attempted to save the created player afterwards (controller was active) and the title crashed at 66%. No sound, animation etc.

I would give more detailed repro steps, but it's 12:52 am and time for bed.

Game mode: Exhibition Human vs CPU

Bug/Glitch: When you (human) drive hard at the opposing point guard (cpu), the opposing point guard will go backwards and stumble all the way off the court, leaving his team at a brief disadvantage for a few seconds until he comes back. I have seen this happen with multiple teams in multiple games.

1st issue: Same problem from 2k11 where if you skip the replay highlights too many times. Eventually the game acts extremely lag in between quarters. When that happens, hitting the A button doesn't skip and fast forward a replay scene or it takes a very long time.

2nd issue: some of the buttons stop functioning randomly. For example, if I hit/hold the LB, no one sets a screen. If I hit RB then LB, I can't throw a pass.

Bug: Backcourt violation foul isn't called by the refs. Happened to us a few time 1v1 on exhibition game on the same console.
